About One

One’s mission is simple - to help customers achieve financial progress. We’re doing this by creating simple solutions to help our customers save, spend, borrow, and grow their money – all in one place.

The U.S. consumer today deserves better. Millions of Americans today can’t access credit, build savings or wealth, and are left to manage their financial lives through multiple disconnected apps. Almost a quarter of U.S. adults are unbanked or underbanked and roughly 80% of fintech users rely on multiple accounts to manage their finances.

What makes us unique? We are backed by a preeminent fintech investor (Ribbit) and the world’s largest retailer (Walmart), maintain the speed and independence of a startup, and employ a strong (and growing) collection of world-class talent.

There’s never been a better moment to build a business that helps people achieve financial progress. Come build with us!

The role

As a member of the Product Analytics team, your mandate is to work closely with teams and leads across the business to shape the acquisition, growth, and optimization strategies that will drive bottom-line impact for the Core Banking business. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Finance, Marketing, and Engineering, you will work cross-functionally to define the problem at-hand, create a framework to break it down, leverage data to enable optimal decision-making and extend proposals that advance both the business and the Core Banking product. To be successful, you’ll need a passion for solving complex problems inherent to working in the fintech industry, have an eager-mentality to accelerate our robust customer growth, and take an owner-like mentality in managing our foremost business performance metrics.

This role will impact One’s vision by further extending the growth of our flagship product, fostering a bridge between the Banking product and our other rapidly expanding product offerings, and effectively managing the foremost business performance metrics to kickstart more customers on their financial journeys!

This role is responsible for:

  • Performing detailed product usage and business performance analyses to derive data insights that lead to actionable business solutions.

  • Intertwining analytics with business and product strategy to craft business proposals that ultimately impact the bottom-line

  • Building and testing new concepts from the ground-up in order to improve the top business KPIs critical to the Banking business and drive product growth

  • Designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests to measure impact of changes with a focus on iteration to perfection.

  • Sharing business insights and product enhancement recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders effectively and concisely.

  • Thinking through 2nd order impacts of their analysis and explaining the impacts to different business areas.

You bring

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in analytics with a proven track record of leveraging quantitative analyses to impact key product decisions

  • Ability to build from the ground-up and a strong analytical aptitude to quickly convert whitespace complex business processes into understandable and easy-to-manage analysis and decision points.

  • Experience working in an analytical scripting language (SQL, Python) with concrete understanding of common statistical methods and applications such as experimentation, regression, and probabilities.

  • Strong written and verbal skills - inclusive of the ability to distill technical subjects for non-technical audiences and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with members across the business to surface new insights that will fuel the product roadmap.

  • Curiosity and desire to figure out the key insights even in an uncertain environment.

  • The Triple H Factor: Humble, Hungry and Honest

  • An act-like-an-owner mentality: decisive, collaborative, and ruthlessly prioritize

Leveling Philosophy

In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at One. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within One.

Inclusion & Belonging

To build technology and products that are used and loved by people and solve real-world problems, we need to build a team with many different perspectives and experiences. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. Applicants in need of special assistance or accommodation during the interview process or in accessing our website may contact us at talent@one.app.
