Procurement Compliance Specialist II, Government Services
Manage the compliance of the purchase order process of Diversified Services. Follow CNB Diversified Businesses purchasing procedures, FAR and DFAR regulations, and TERO requirements when applicable. Ensure all processes are complete and documents and files are retained for support of the purchase order.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Procurement Compliance Specialist II, Government Services: $50K - $88K, plus annual bonus.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Procurement Compliance Specialist II, Government Services Responsibilities Include:
- Receives purchase requisitions through the system and reviews them for compliance with FAR, DFAR, and company policies and procedures.
- Prepares purchase orders using Deltek Costpoint based on approved requisitions.
- Develops a procurement file structure for documentation in compliance with FAR regulations.
- Creates work instructions for Requisitioners, Receivers, and other functions of the procurement process.
- Maintains purchase order files and ensures proper documentation and record-keeping for audits.
- Closes procurement files, ensuring all required documentation is retained and available for audit.
- Ensures compliance with Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) requirements, as applicable.
- Coordinates and oversees new supplier setup, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with BCG to define and develop management reports for purchase analysis.
- Provides guidance and training to Operations in preparing requisitions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Procurement Compliance Specialist II, Government Services Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in Operations Production Management, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7 years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 3 years in government contracting procurement under FAR requirements.
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) is required.
- Working knowledge of accounting software applications, preferably Deltek Costpoint.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
- Work knowledge of Manufacturing Scheduling skills is helpful.
- Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with overseas supplier requirements and customs is advantageous.
