We're seeking a pioneering Principal Product Manager to lead the company-wide Experimentation Platform for the Zillow Group. In this pivotal role, you'll shape ZG's data-driven future and orchestrate our experimentation strategy to align with key business priorities.

Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling our experimentation efforts and accelerating product and business decision-making. You will lead all aspects of the platform's entire lifecycle, from strategic vision to widespread adoption collaborating closely with company leadership, product, engineering, and data science teams.   • Define and implement the product vision and strategy for our experimentation platform

  • Lead the company-wide experimentation strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their experimentation needs and incorporate them into the platform roadmap

  • Drive the development of new features and capabilities for the platform

  • Increase experiment velocity and quality company-wide, aligning experimentation with business metrics

  • Scale experimentation across multiple product lines efficiently and effectively

  • Promote the use of the platform by educating, documenting, and collaborating with various team members.

  • Analyze experimentation results and provide insights to inform product decisions

  • Guide and support other product managers, while being a leader with a point of view in experimentation and data-driven decision making.

  • Foster a culture that encourages product decision making based on experimentation throughout the organization.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $170,200.00 - $271,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focusing on data platforms, analytics, or experimentation tools

  • Strong technical background a deep understanding of A/B testing, and statistical analysis

  • Track record of driving cultural change towards data-driven decision making

  • Exceptional ability to influence and drive consensus across leadership, product, engineering, and data science teams

  • Consistent record of shipping successful products at scale

  • Crisp communication skills to articulate sophisticated ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering; Master's degree preferred

  • Previous experience building or managing an experimentation platform is a plus

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize quickly and effectively in a complex collaborator environment
