Pie Maintenance Manager
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt Employment Type: Full Time
This position is a change agent and will provide leadership and direction for the Maintenance Department, at the Bama Companies, Inc., in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Maintenance manager reports to the Plant Manager with an indirect line to Corporate Engineering and manages members of the plant maintenance department. Their leadership of facility and process improvements, involvement in major construction initiatives, equipment design and modifications and delivering solutions to accomplish strategic endeavors is crucial to the success and accomplishment of the future picture.
Role Description and Job Accountabilities:
Specific Job Accountabilities:
· Responsible for site compliance of (EPA, BRC, OSHA, FSMA, PSM, USDA) and all local, state and federal requirements
· Responsible for quality, human and food safety, continuous improvement and smart fun growth
· Understands Bama's maintenance and manufacturing systems
· Responsible for infrastructure including support utilities and ammonia refrigeration systems
· Responsible for creation and management of yearly maintenance budget including indirect spend
· Viable and dedicated support resource for all related aspects of manufacturing
· Manages and assists with plant capital projects
· Utilizes department scorecard to control downtime and scrap
· Responsible for overtime control

- BS Degree in Science/Business or related discipline and/or 5 to 7 years of related experience with progressively more responsible duties within a food manufacturing plant

- Knowledge of the use of Statistics (Six Sigma) and their application toward problem solving, process capability and online control
- Use of BE to manage projects and communication to the organization for project status
- Prior staff responsibility is a plus
- Computer skills within the MS family, AutoCAD proficiency being a plus

- Firsthand working knowledge of all regulatory compliance programs (BRC, OSHA, EPA, PSM)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify and develop training for required employee needs
- Ability to work independently
- Experience and /or training in maintenance systems including Reliability Centered Maintenance, Lean manufacturing, or other CMMS-based, planned maintenance systems
- Experience and/or training with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Experience and/or training in Predictive Maintenance (PDM) systems
