Job Description
The Oversight & Control Analyst Il is primarily responsible for working in conjunction with the Oversight & Control Specialist III in the oversight of all metric, control, and compliance data produced by departments within Wealth Management Services. This position is responsible for contributing additional Oversight process automation recommendations and implementation to streamline all control processing within the Oversight area, creating efficiencies and capacity in order to meet the objective of the Oversight group, which is to manage compliance and risk exposure within Wealth Management Services.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will analyze and streamline Oversight processes to increase efficiency, automate manual tasks, and reduce financial risk.
- You will interpret and translate critical information from various WMS groups to ensure audit compliance and report exceptions.
- You will monitor internal system changes, research areas of concern, and recommend improvements for control reconciliations.
- You will develop data extraction and reporting programs using available systems.
- You will report all exceptions and service standard violations to Management, detecting and exposing financial risks.
- You will be responsible for ongoing cross-training of personnel and contribute to policy and procedure development.
- You will ensure controls are in place according to audit requirements, detecting procedure exceptions and exposing financial risks.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Accounting with 4-5 years accounting/operations experience with emphasis on technical efficiencies and data manipulation or 10-11 years equivalent work experience.
- Excellent organizational and PC skills: ability to write extracts, create macros, integrate worksheets, perform file transfers, uploads and downloads of information between online systems and PC applications. Demonstrated ability to produce quantifiable benefits through improved operational efficiencies, organized work flow and process improvement.
- Excellent training skills. Proven ability to provide training in a constructive and effective manner.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills: must be able to demonstrate previous experience in independently solving very complex problems and identifying appropriate resources resulting in reporting the end data in a clear and a concise manner.
- Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices with emphasis in reconciliation.
