Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for managing, directing and monitoring strategic marketing and sales enablement initiatives for one or more divisions within BOK Financials. These strategic marketing initiatives include: paid and owned digital media, print and direct response channels. This individual is focused on the management and execution of strategic marketing strategies and tactics that align with the overarching business strategy of their assigned line of business or divisions. The Marketing Specialist must have exceptional project management and follow-through skills, be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with executive leaders, directors, managers, and business partners, have a strong understanding of marketing operational procedures, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will provide support to your Marketing Managers by coordinating and executing marketing and sales tactical initiatives across the division
  • You will develop and execute media campaign elements (print and digital ads, landing pages, etc), sales collateral development and fulfillment, coordinating and managing community related projects, events/seminars, assisting with curating and managing content for sales microsites and social media programs, website updates and the management and execution of operational meetings.
  • You will utilize our project management software to track progress on your projects
  • You will participate in meetings, providing timely updates of key projects to your Marketing Managers and Directors about forthcoming campaigns and marketing programs

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field of study and 3+ years directly related experience in Marketing and/or 6+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns across various lines of business simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details
  • Ability to understand complex marketing ideas and to deliver multi-channel campaigns.
  • Ability to influence and shape the opinions of key stakeholders, business partners, and vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytics and problem solving skills
  • High energy with a bias for action.
  • Working knowledge of project management systems (i.e., Brand Maker, Robohead, etc.), Digital Asset Managers (DAMs), and CRM and database marketing systems (i.e., SalesForce, Velma, etc.).
  • Solid PC skills with spreadsheet and word processing software, including ability to function proficiently in a Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
