Job Description

The Manager, Internal Audit Data Analytics is responsible for the execution of BOKF’s Internal Audit data analytics framework and procedures in support of audits and audit-related projects ensuring processes used are sustainable and repeatable. In executing the responsibilities of this position, the incumbent effectively collaborates with Internal Audit teams and IT/LOB data partners to gain an understanding of the scope and function of data used by various LOB’s and proactively identifies opportunities where audit–related efforts can be optimized through efficient system access and use of data. In partnership with IT and line of business personnel, the incumbent identifies systems, data format and file requirements; and utilizes computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs) to access and aggregate data in addition to providing technical expertise on data validation, data cleansing, and analysis.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will independently design and execute audit analytics solutions, collaborate with audit teams to determine methods and data, and manage continuous analytics and reporting frameworks with moderate guidance from the Corporate Audit Director.
  • You will work with business leaders to understand data usage, identify optimization opportunities for audits, and collaborate on resolving and improving processes to meet risk control objectives.
  • You will act as a liaison between Audit, IT, and LOBs to ensure audit data aligns with objectives, while also presenting audit plans, findings, and recommendations to LOB leaders.
  • You will lead and support the internal audit team by setting standards, fostering professional growth, aligning goals, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and providing strategic expertise.
  • You will analyze industry, financial services, and regulatory trends to enhance your knowledge base and recommend updates to existing protocols and procedures.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS/AIS, Data Analytics, Quantitative Statistics, Finance/Accounting or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in management. Minimum 9 years’ experience performing data analysis, preferably in Banking or Financial services. Expert understanding of management information systems, data analytics tools, and related best practices/ control initiatives. Advanced knowledge and experience scripting, retrieving, and analyzing data using a variety of data analytical tools, including SQL/ Oracle, PowerBI, ACL/ Alteryx/ Arbutus, Visual Studio/ VBA, and/or Excel. Mature understanding of project management methodologies and application.
