Manages the ongoing execution, training, and support of protecting Goodwill Industries of Tulsa, Inc. (GWIT) team members, assets, property, donations, and revenue. Maintains and implements programs and security controls to mitigate risk and loss. The LP Manager, in collaboration with LP team members, will establish strong partnerships with Operations and Store Management, Human Resources, and the local law enforcement community, representing GWIT professionally in a manner that reflects the values and standards of the organization's mission and goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Communicates, trains, and educates loss prevention programs and strategies. Makes necessary adjustments when applicable to the needs of the business.
- Analyzes and reviews Point of Sales and Over Short reports for suspicious activity and provides further research to determine potential loss or exposure to loss.
- Conducts site visits to ensure loss prevention strategies and training are adhered to through audits and/or inspections and communicates findings to respective leadership
- Conducts investigations for shoplifting and internal theft following GWIT guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion in dealing with sensitive or controversial issues and information.
- Performs all functions in close collaboration with Operations and Retail Management, relaying issues, providing solutions, and implementing changes in all loss prevention-related areas.
- Responds and assists in all critical incidents and emergency response situations, including communication, problem-solving, and remediation.
- Assists in issuing and maintaining alarm systems and codes.
- Investigates disturbances such as alarm calls, unlawful intrusions, fires, and property damage. Coordinates activities with department heads, police, and fire departments during alarms and/or emergencies.
- Maintains the current detail key log of all facility keys as assigned.
- Conducts routine physical security checks and recommends preventing loss and improving expense-to-revenue ratio.
- Travels to all GWIT service areas and other travel as required.
- Follows, enforces, and provides training to assure that all safety rules and regulations are followed. Completes and submits any necessary forms and/or reports immediately, but no longer than within 24 hours, when an incident occurs. Maintains current certifications in First Aid and CPR and administers if required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to work occasional after-hours to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, evenings, overnight, and weekends. Also, be available for on call support as needed.
- Completes all GWIT training requirements and maintains certifications required by law.
- Must adhere to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid Oklahoma Driver's License, and insurance.
- Must be eligible for a favorable outcome on the required criminal conviction background check.
- Must maintain Goodwill's Drug-Free Workplace.
- Must be willing to work in both technical and non-technical teams.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience is preferred. 3-5 years: Retail LP experience in a multi-unit capacity is preferred. Comprehensive understanding of Loss Prevention systems and techniques. Good computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office).
