Position Summary

A Brief Overview:

As a member of the Data and Analytics organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining best-in-class data pipelines aimed at driving best-in-class solutions. You will collaborate with analytic partners and business partners from product strategy, program management, IT, data strategy, and predictive analytics teams to develop effective solutions.

What you will do:

· In this role you will work with seasoned Data engineers in building the next generation of ground-breaking healthcare application on IRIS for Health Platform supporting both our clinical processes and engaging consumers in their healthcare journey

· Design and lead API Development, IRIS App Development for Core Interoperability Services creating Ingestion, enrichment, and consumption frameworks and onboarding clinical data from various data sources formatted in various industry standards (FHIR, C-CDA, HL7 V2, JSON, XML, etc.).

· Collaborate with Clinical Data Consumers and lead solution discovery, design clinical data mapping and transformation solution using FHIR/HL7 interoperability guidelines.

· Support modeling/diagramming and build design specifications for health care data objects and surrounding data processing logic.

· Perform Health care Data Analysis, Data profiling of source data to derive meaningful insights, and document data requirements to support the new data source onboarding.

· Develop proof of concepts for batch/real-time data engineering solutions that leverage emerging technologies.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in architecture, design, and development of enterprise applications
  • 7+ Years working on IRIS for Health Platform, coding and creating IRIS components using Object Script
  • 3+ Years working on H7L, XML(CCDA) and FHIR Data
  • 5+ Years working on IHE Transactions (XCPD, XCA, XCR)
  • 5+ years of hands-on and robust experience in Python, Unix Shell scripting, SQL and handling of JSON, XML data.
  • 3+ years of experience in building applications in GCP
  • 3+ years of experience working with tools to automate CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GIT)
  • Strong communication skills are required as the position will interact with business owners

Preferred Qualifications

· Knowledge and Experience working on Intersystem Data Platform i.e. IRIS for Health

· GCP data engineering technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/sub, Cloud Composer, Big Query, and Health care API (FHIR store)

· Knowledge and Experience in Big Query is strongly preferable.

· Experience working with health care data and understanding of analytics and how it is leveraged within the healthcare industries.

· Prior experience creating FHIR API, oAuth2 authentication, or mapping healthcare data to FHIR resources will be a strong plus

· GCP Cloud Architect Or GCP Data engineering certification.


Education

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree strongly preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
