JOB SUMMARY:
The Systems Administrator reports to the Manager of IT, Engineering. The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and ensuring the reliability and security of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing servers, networks, and related technology, as well as providing technical support to end-users.
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Systems Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform monthly systems and server maintenance.
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of infrastructure systems.
Technical Support:
- Perform troubleshooting & technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Provide tier 2 & 3 systems and software support for end-users as needed.
Project Management:
- Participate in IT projects, including the planning, implementation, and rollout of new systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
- Commitment to overseeing projects through completion.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Must be a high school graduate or have HS equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three years experience in information technology required.
- Enterprise or Health Care IT experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Proficiency with Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Knowledge of basic networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Desire/ability to remain up-to-date on latest developments and trends within the IT industry.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, hardware, software, and network communication protocols including problem solving skills related to data processing systems and equipment.
- Ability to work with end-users, outside vendors, and management to resolve problems and implement new technologies.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in both oral and written form.
- Working knowledge of technical tools and methods.
- Working knowledge of enterprise IT standards and procedures.
- Experience creating technical documentation for end-users and IT staff.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- CompTIA Network+,CompTIA Security+, and ITIL Foundation Preferred

SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:
This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
