Job Summary: AAON is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. SAP MDG Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the SAP MDG functionality within S/4HANA and work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, drive process standardization, and ensure the efficient utilization of out-of-the-box SAP software capabilities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Functional Consultant during business process analysis by participating in interviews, workflow analyses, and facilitating discussions with business users.
- Translate user business requirements into comprehensive functional designs for development, testing, and implementation.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues related to business rules, functional requirements, and specifications. Actively contributes to managing the scope of applications and related changes.
- Participate in the UAT phase and go-live period of the MDG Implementation project, addressing live system issues by engaging internal and external stakeholders, leading root cause analysis, and assessing upstream and downstream change impacts.
- Support quality assurance efforts through functional test case reviews and contribute to user training by creating training materials.
- Drive continuous process improvements by monitoring and analyzing KPIs, proposing process and system changes, providing scope and cost estimates, and optimizing timelines to enhance quality and business outcomes.
- Additional duties as assigned, based on project needs and organizational requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced or Master’s degree in related field preferred.
5-7 years’ experience in software development, computer engineering, or related position. 7+ years’ experience preferred.

- Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills.

Essential Physical Functions:
- Frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
- Ability to sit comfortably for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasional travel as the job may require visiting customers and project sites.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
