  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose medical conditions.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

  • Provide preventive care and health education to patients to promote wellness.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Stay updated on advancements in internal medicine practices and participate in continuing education.

  • This is a group medical team setting of other family practitioners and pediatricians. No inpatient coverage required.

  • Adheres to the American Medical Association or other appropriate professional physician code of ethics.

  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with patients, coworkers, and other members of the care team.

  • Demonstrates clinical proficiency in field through peer review and direct observation by members of the care team.

  • Works well with other team members of the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Maintains appropriate documentation in EHR system.

  • Provides comprehensive primary care medical services within the scope of licensure, approved IHCRC privileges, and professional ethics standards, augmented by continued training and/or certification, community standards, and experience.

  • Actively pursues quality improvement using GPRA measures and AAAHC recommendations.

  • Provides oversight to mid-level providers as needed.
