In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and testing mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable operation.perform electro-mechanical assembly work for all of our product lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and resolve issues with sensors, detectors, thermocouples, PCA boards, controller programming, and system controls.
  • Develop and follow detailed test procedures, including test types, cycles, conditions, and duration.
  • Coordinate and participate in installing units or systems for testing, ensuring proper connections of valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, power sources, and indicating instruments.
  • Activate controls to apply electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical power and guide the test item through each step of the test cycle.
  • Monitor controls and instruments, and accurately record test data.
  • Make necessary minor adjustments to the test item before shipment.
  • Perform regular calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Assess the need for repairs and, when necessary, perform repairs on test items.
  • Utilize downtime or test time to work on subassemblies or build instruments as needed.
  • Perform all work in accordance with approved manuals and follow all policies and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Hours over 40 per week and some weekend work can be expected from time to time.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
