The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for an annual fundraising goal of $500K for YWCA Tulsa and supporting our larger organizational goal of $10M. This includes meeting revenue goals for individual and major giving, event sponsorships, program sponsorships, and community events.
RequirementsPrincipal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Annual Campaign and Major Gifts
- Identifying, cultivating, and stewarding individual donor relationships.
- Maintaining a major gifts portfolio and regularly soliciting major gifts.
- Strategically managing donor relationships and frequently meeting with individual donors.
- Creating, testing, monitoring, and evaluating appeals and campaigns ensuring budgeted goals are met.
- Assessing current plans for annual donors and implementing improvements.
- Focusing on the growth and retention of the annual donor pool.
- Developing and growing individual donor revenue.
- Establishing and maintaining a formal Planned Giving Program.
- Establishing and maintaining Donor Giving Circle to engage major donors. Defined as donors making gifts of $1000 or more.
Special Events:
- Work with businesses and organizations to help them achieve their goals through funding and support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current sponsors.
- Secure sponsorships, meeting revenue goals for two annual events with audiences of 500+
- Develop program sponsorship opportunities to support ongoing programming
- Negotiate sponsorship packages and contracts with potential sponsors
- Manage and administer all sponsor benefits
- Partner with Marketing Team to promote sponsorship opportunities and highlight current sponsors on both our website and social channels.
Donor Record Management:
- In partnership with the Development Operations Manager ensure all gifts received are properly entered and restricted per the donors’ intentions in donor CRM database
- Ensure all interactions and communications with Individual Donors and Sponsors are properly tracked in CRM database to improve relationships and communications with donors and create a giving history for all support
- Partner with Development Operations Manager and Sr. Director of Development and Operations in all donor stewardship efforts
- Identify new prospects.

Education/Experience:
- 4-Year bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years fundraising experience
- Highly skilled in all forms of communication – written, verbal

Salary Description $45,000-$60,000
