Job Description

Location: 1102 Human Resources
Pay Grade: A13
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Under general supervision, oversees a variety of initiatives and functions, ensuring that human resources programs support, and are in alignment with, the long-term goals of the department.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides analysis, design, development and implementation of various human resource programs; identifies and supports program improvement opportunities; creates standard operating procedures (SOPs) and performs routine maintenance to support employees who utilize internal products and processes.
  • Manages human resource-related special projects which may include conducting research, analyzing data and presenting findings.
  • Oversees human resource programing logistics and leads system migration and implementations; prepares and distributes related program materials.
  • Provides input in developing and evaluating human resource program policies and procedures; evaluates and recommends changes to programs.
  • Designs and delivers scorecards, dashboards and/or reports on the business performance and effectiveness of human resource projects and programing.
  • Gathers and reviews data in assigned areas; reports on human resource trends and makes project/program suggestions in alignment with the department’s goals.
  • Designs, coordinates and performs audits of key human resource programs to ensure data and process integrity; manages the resolutions of identified issues and monitors/measures resolution effectiveness to ensure improvements are maintained.
  • Serves as department liaison with Information Technologies to ensure that technology and resources support the programming efforts of the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, supplemented by three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class D driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of balancing, feeling, handling, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, talking, visual acuity, walking and which involves some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 20 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
