Position Overview:

As the Head of Group Benefits and Enterprise Events, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders within the lines of business to develop effective experiences that engage participants and combine operational and creative excellence.

What You'll Do:

Work with event leadership, marketing and communication partners, and business stakeholders to create and implement integrated event marketing strategies and activations.

Manage and execute events, enhance our brand through innovative experiences, brand activations, and integrated event marketing programs.

Oversee end-to-end event management for proprietary events, including agenda and content development, vendor management, site research, contract negotiation, expense management, catering, audio visual management, budget reconciliation, invoice processing, pre/post-event reporting, and ROI analysis.

Engage in strategic event planning with key internal stakeholders, including C-level executives, ensuring benchmarks and goals are met and results are measured/reported.

Experience Requirements & Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in the hospitality industry.

15+ years of experience in event management or hospitality management at a senior level managing a large team.

Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time and work non-traditional hours, including some evenings, weekends.

Experience in collaborating with internal and external resources to develop and contribute to strategic initiatives within budget and timelines.

Strong project management skills with the ability to optimize departmental processes.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

A strategic mindset with the ability to set goals and elevate our event portfolio.

Data-driven leadership experience focusing on defining success metrics and refining the customer experience strategy.

Proven ability to unite and motivate a diverse team of event professionals to achieve results. Critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining urgency and commitment to success.

Additional Skills:

High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills to engage with executives and senior leaders including the CEO.

Budget management experience, including forecasting and vendor relationship management.

Ability to conceptualize ideas and drive them to execution.

Motivated, decisive individual who works well in a team environment. Diplomatic approach with a good sense of humor and perspective.

Salary Range:

$107,920.00 - $177,295.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
