Position Information Position Title Hardware Engineer Job Description- The Hardware Engineer reports to the Principal Investigator and performs technical duties within the Institute for Robotics and Autonomy.
- Facilitate and implement hardware engineering solutions for robotics, automation, computing, and hardware technologies acquired and engaged investigators on the project.
- Broker open communication and problem solving with research scientists and engineers to address hardware-level engineering, experimentation and deployment issues with robots, automation and related devices as they arise.

• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate effectiveness in working with a variety of administrative levels and diverse groups of people located both internally and externally to the institution.
• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE, ME, CS/IT or related engineering discipline.
• Three years industry experience in engineering and/or automation platforms.
• Previous work experience in a university setting. Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
Master’s degree in ECE, ME, Computer Science/Information Technology or related engineering discipline.
