Who we are looking for

Zendesk is looking for a strategic brand marketing manager who has passion for storytelling and developing thoughtful campaigns that drive business results developing.

As the Group Brand Manager, you are an expert in campaign management with a track record of translating market insights and business objectives into brand narratives, communication priorities, and measurable OKRs. As a leader, you embody a growth mindset, embrace ambitious goals, and have the ability to lead an organization through growth and change.

You are experienced at engaging agencies to establish clear expectations and collaboration goals, ensuring alignment with brand standards. Your role will involve critical discussions with leaders, advocating for brand marketing and its impact on business performance. Consequently, you must have strong listening, negotiation, and communication skills. Your ability to influence others is evident, while maintaining openness to diverse perspectives

As a thought leader, you'll help define the brand communication and campaigning strategy, then lead the development and execution of the plan to achieve OKR goals. You possess the capacity to think clearly and cogently about brand strategy challenges, with a demonstrated history of deploying tactics that drive long-term brand improvements.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform campaign briefs and communication strategies.

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaign strategies that align with Zendesk's overall OKR goals and objectives.

  • Oversee full-funnel global marketing campaigns, from brief to concept to execution. Manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams (internal and external) to ensure seamless creative development and delivery.

  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing regular reports to the executive team.

  • Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.

  • Ensure campaign implementation follows brand guidelines and organizational values

  • Identify marketing opportunities to inspire brand growth and differentiation.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in campaign strategy.

  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the brand and storytelling team.

What you bring to the role

  • 10+ years of experience in campaign management or marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful campaign strategies from brief though execution and performance reporting.

  • Experienced in agency/vendor management; managing budgets.

  • Possess an ethos of “getting things done.” Decisive, agile, and iterative; easily able to shift gears between thinking and doing with a proven track record to thrive under ambiguity

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with creative, channel, and communication teams, cross-functional partners and company leadership

  • Team-player attitude—your enthusiasm will get others to participate in our programs and be our advocates within their teams

  • Strategic problem solver that can see beyond the day-to-day work to help reach company OKRs, marketing and sales goals, build a stronger brand, and improve connection with our customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in campaign management or marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Exceptional project management, prioritization, and attention to detail—you’ll be managing multiple timelines with different stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including market research and analytics platforms.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $123,000.00-$185,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
