Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

Responsible for supporting First Citizens BancShares’ Integrated Risk Solutions (IRS) team by completing configuration changes, primarily in Archer, based on requests submitted across the three lines. Work items will focus on the development of new module builds and enhancements to existing modules. This position requires a high level of critical thinking and independent problem solving, in addition to effective communication and collaboration skills to successfully support business relationship management with associates.


Responsibilities

Manage configuration work for the First Citizens BancShares’ GRC systems:

  • Convert business requirements into actionable technical solutions to guide development activities
  • Configure complex business processes within Archer utilizing advanced workflow, integrations, data imports, dashboards, and reports
  • Assist with monthly enhancement release cycle, ensuring configurations and workflows are maintained
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure solutions meet defined requirements
  • Maintain documentation of technical configurations, workflows, and solutions to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements
  • Stay up to date with the latest updates, features, and best practices to continuously improve the platform and address emerging business needs
  • Provide effective communication to IRS team members and business partners
  • Maintain flexibility to shift priorities in a quickly evolving Enterprise Risk Management environment

Participate in IRS systems development lifecycle:

  • Provide support for IRS projects through analysis and configuration
  • Participate in project calls, as needed, and serve as a liaison between the IRS team and business partners

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Financial Services, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, or Accounting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Financial Services, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, or Accounting

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience as an administrator of the Archer platform
  • Knowledge of various bank/government regulatory requirements and processes
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor or with a team
  • Exceptional organization, analysis, decision making and problem resolution skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives
  • Advanced PC Skills including Microsoft Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with developing visual workflows a plus

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Archer Certified Administrator certification

The base pay for this position is generally between $98,000 to $160,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
