Position Information Position Title Graphic Designer Job Description Position overview: The University of Tulsa is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications team. This role will focus on creating high-quality print materials, including magazine layouts and direct mail pieces, as well as digital assets for our online platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce a variety of print materials such as magazines, brochures, flyers, and direct mail pieces.
  • Create compelling digital assets for website, social media, email campaigns, and other online platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and campus partners to develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Required Qualifications Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Proven experience in print and digital design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and ability to handle a variety of design styles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Skills
  • Experience in magazine layout design and direct mail pieces.
  • Knowledge of digital design best practices, including responsive design and email design.
  • Familiarity with web design and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
