**OVERVIEW**
Hunger Free Oklahoma is seeking a full-time Grants Manager to secure and manage grant funding critical to advancing the organization's mission. The Grants Manager will oversee the entire grant lifecycle, from research and proposal development to compliance and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and deadlines. Additionally, this candidate will be adept at researching and identifying grant opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements. Strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and proficiency in managing data and documentation are key to success in this role.

**[Hunger Free Oklahoma](http://www.hungerfreeok.org/)** is a statewide nonprofit established to leverage the power of collaboration to solve hunger in Oklahoma by improving systems, policies, and practices, facilitating public/private partnerships, and providing backbone support to existing organizations addressing hunger.
Hunger Free Oklahoma’s primary focus is to collaboratively work with community-based organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders who directly serve individuals. We provide support through technical assistance, convening, research, and policy guidance to nonprofit, government, and other stakeholders statewide.
**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
The Grants Manager will be supervised by the Director of Strategic Advancement. The role will evolve over time, but the core of your work will be:
**Grant Preparation**
- Research and evaluate grant opportunities
- Maintain and update templates, forms, and standard grant language
**Proposal Development**
- Write grant proposals
- Coordinate with subject matter experts for grant content in ways that maximize their time
- Track and reuse grant content to improve efficiency
- Obtain and create necessary attachments for grant applications
- Obtain appropriate reviews and approvals
**Compliance and Administration**
- Manage the 'Grant Received' process, including interdepartmental consultation
- Track grant deadlines and keep stakeholders informed
- Develop, coordinate, and ensure timely submission of grant reports
- Maintain compliance with funder branding requirements
- Manage Salesforce entries related to grants
- File and organize grant related documents
- Reconciling Salesforce and accounting software
- Ensure leadership is prepared for funder meetings
- Support finance staff in preparation for the annual audit and other reports and processes
**WHO YOU ARE**
_To qualify for this job, you will have:_
- High school diploma or equivalent and have 8 or more years of relevant experience; OR 8 years in a combination of post-secondary education or training and relevant work experience
- Previous grant writing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and spreadsheets
- Excellent communicationand people management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience with Salesforce (preferred)
- Located in Oklahoma City (preferred)
