About the team
Stripe’s Global Sales Strategy and Operations team is responsible for the overall strategic direction of sales and supporting GTM teams. The team serves as a trusted advisor to the CRO and GTM Leadership team on the most impactful strategic issues, delivering high impact programs with multi-year trajectory.
What you’ll do
You will work closely with the broader Sales Strategy & Operations team, the CRO and her leadership team, and key cross functional teams to drive near-term and longer-term global GTM strategy. This includes fiscal year GTM planning, identifying growth opportunities, leading strategic initiatives, and driving operational rigor and scale. You will be expected to leverage data to form recommendations and influence stakeholders to drive alignment and deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the progress, health, and sustainability of the overall strategy
- Provide analytical rigor and strategic perspective to help inform key decisions across GTM teams
- Understand trends in business performance and derive insights on running the business
- Build a deep understanding of each area of the business to drive short-term improvement and long-term value
- Exhibit sound business judgment, strong collaboration and analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership to influence results
- Collaborate cross-functionally to connect data driven insights with operational processes to drive efficiencies
- Develop point of view of resource, spend and program effectiveness, allocation strategy, and risks/opportunities
- Gain deep knowledge and understanding of Stripe’s business performance across geographies and user segments
Who you are

Minimum requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sales strategy and operations
- Able to break down problems of all different types in a structured fashion and identify the key issues to solve
- Ability to be “80/20” and understand and analyze key business signals and what they are telling us
- Experience building models from scratch (in Excel or other planning applications)
- Experience program managing complex cross-functional initiatives, ability to identify dependencies and unblock challenges
- The ability to maintain high-performance under tight timelines, and an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
- Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce (or similar CRM), data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to turn analysis into executive insights
- Able to effectively manage executive stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working in investment banking, corporate strategy, management consulting, financial services, or at a growth-stage internet or software company
- Experience working with large datasets and familiarity of SQL and a strong understanding of data relationships
The annual US base salary range for this role is $140,700 - $211,100. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
