The Global Director of Sales Training is a leadership role responsible for continually improving the performance of the sales organization. This person will determine and evaluate sales training needs and design and deliver quality sales training solutions that build essential sales capabilities necessary to achieve all sales goals through successful execution of defined sales strategies.

You are a proven leader who will work with your team to set goals driving measurable impact. The ideal candidate has a strong ability to lead and inspire a team, sales and operations expertise, analytical skills to make data-driven decisions, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a highly dynamic team environment

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain a highly relevant, goal oriented strategic training program globally
  • Collaborate with executive and senior stakeholders to ensure understanding of sales strategies, opportunities, and challenges and gain full alignment on training priorities
  • Develop new hire training, advanced and recurrent training as well as additional development programs
  • Partner directly with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging experiences for the various seller role profiles and available delivery modes (live, e-learning, asynchronous) with clear strategies and tactics to achieve desired learning outcomes
  • Define and report out metrics that assess learning effectiveness and/or opportunities
  • Partner closely with other Training & Learning professionals on the team to ensure learning experiences are fun, engaging, and help sellers adopt new skills and abilities
  • Analyze performance of sales personnel to determine need for additional training
  • Build a highly effective team motivated by your expertise with regard to sales development best practices
  • Drive continuous innovation and improvement

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of proven global leadership in a high-performance sales organization in sales or sales enablement
  • 8+ years of experience establishing Sales Training functions in a highly cross-functional environment
  • Self-starter mentality with a track record of producing exceptional work with minimal supervision
  • Strategic thinker that can influence without authority, effective collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams to drive flawless execution
  • Ability to manage global, highly visible projects and timelines that span multiple teams and multiple resources
  • Extensive experience in growing and scaling businesses and setting GTM strategy with demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets
  • Must have strong data analytics skills. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus
  • Willing to take feedback, learn and grow; an ethos of continuous self-improvement

In-Office Requirement Statement

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 3-4 times a quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
