Forum's Venture Studio is a leading early-stage fund and program for B2B SaaS startups. Starting a company is demanding, complex, and psychologically challenging. As former founders and early-stage operators, we understand firsthand that Founders need support, honest feedback, and someone who truly cares in their corner.
Our mission is to make the journey easier and more successful for Founders, and we've achieved this by making over 350+ seed investments that have raised $600M+ in follow-on funding. Forum founders have gone on to raise from funds like Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, Uncork Capital, 8VC, Founders Fund, Menlo Ventures, Canaan, Bowery Capital, Susa Ventures, SV Angel, and more.
We’re looking for a Founder/CEO to lead a venture focused on building the first AI-native insurance platform. As AI adoption accelerates, traditional policies fail to address unique risks like algorithmic errors, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory violations. This platform will develop AI-specific underwriting workflows, real-time risk assessments, and alternative data integrations to bridge the growing coverage gap. By partnering with existing E&O and Cyber insurers, we can drive seamless market adoption and establish a new standard for AI liability coverage in this rapidly growing space.
What are we exploring?
AI adoption is accelerating, but traditional insurance policies fail to address the unique risks AI systems introduce, such as algorithmic errors, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory violations. While some insurers classify AI risks under E&O, Cyber, or Product Liability policies, there is no purpose-built underwriting framework for AI-driven businesses, leaving a major coverage gap. With AI governance regulations tightening, companies will soon require AI-specific liability insurance, creating a rapidly growing demand for specialized risk solutions.
A dedicated AI insurance platform can bridge this gap by developing AI-specific underwriting workflows, real-time risk assessments, and alternative data integrations. Partnering with existing E&O and Cyber insurance providers offers a strategic entry point, allowing for seamless market adoption. With the AI insurance market projected to hit $4.7 billion by 2032 and few established players, early entrants have a rare opportunity to define industry standards and build a category-leading company in this emerging space.
