We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a skilled Fireplace Installer. In this role, you will ensure the successful installation of various types of fireplaces, maintaining our commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Install a wide range of fireplaces, including wood-burning and gas models, adhering to manufacturer guidelines, local building codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine installation feasibility and identify any necessary modifications.
- Prepare installation sites by measuring, cutting, and fitting materials such as framing, venting components, fireboxes, surrounds, and mantels.
- Assemble and install fireplace components, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and connection.
- Collaborate with customers, contractors, and project managers to address installation requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fireplaces, including cleaning and inspecting parts.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, and hours worked.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- NFI Certification preferred.
- Prior experience with HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical will be a big plus.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Basic math skills required: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately
- Willingness to work on roofs occasionally.
- Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
