Job Summary: Assist in managing the day-to-day duties associated with our corporate investor relations department, and help in building a formal M&A strategy.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Organize information and data to help best position the investor relations team in performing their day-to-day duties of analyzing the company and communicating information to the investment community.
  • Assist in creating, managing and maintaining investor relations materials, including IR presentations, press releases, earnings releases and presentations, annual report and proxy material and quarterly Board material.
  • Participate in calls and meetings with shareholders and prospective investors.
  • Help build and manage a formal M&A strategy, including forming a strategy, constructing a formal process and working with internal leadership, investment bankers and consultants to help build a pipeline of opportunity to analyze and pursue.
  • Research macroeconomics, the industry and internal operations to assist in performing both investor relations and corporate strategy duties.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field and 5 years of experience as a financial analyst, strategist, or related position. Advanced or master’s degree and 8 years’ experience preferred. CFA preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying information and financial insights to the investment community.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments and teams within the organization.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in an climate controlled office setting and may require exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
  • Ability to sit comfortably for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability for occasional travel as the job may require visiting customers and project sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
