Zoom is growing its sales financial planning & analysis team to meet the demands of a fast-growing marketing organization.
About the Team
The Technology FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team drives strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support revenue growth and profitability. They analyze financial data, monitor key performance indicators, and provide insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
Additionally, partnering closely with R&D, DevOps, Product, IT, Technical Support, and Dev Ecosystem teams to align financial goals with business objectives and optimize resource allocation.
Responsibilities
Managing headcount: Work with executive leaders and HR in developing, reporting, and analyzing recruiting plan
Expense management: Develop an annual operating expense plan with quarterly updates. Ensure accurate forecasting of expenses and variance analysis.
Go beyond reporting numbers to understand and articulate business drivers of results.
Drive projects to improve existing financial processes to increase automation, scalability, and accuracy.
Report the vitals of the business: Help build and oversee KPI metrics to ensure continued execution, identify risk areas and prepare recommendations. Establish weekly/monthly reporting of financial and usage data.
Present data driven plans & results to senior executives.
Reviewer and approver of purchase orders, partner with the procurement and accounting teams to resolve requests.
Possess excellent financial modeling skills to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Have the ability to engage with multifunctional partners and effectively communicate complex financial models and data insights to non-finance stakeholders but also a proactive approach to enhancing planning processes and automating financial reporting.
What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience in FP&A.
Established experience in budgeting & reporting of financial results, financial analysis, providing return of investment analysis.
Knowledge of core accounting concepts.
You will have comfort in operating independently in a dynamic workplace.
Excellent knowledge of SQL/Snowflake, G Suite and MS Office Suite productivity software tools.
Good knowledge of Anaplan but not mandatory.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, friendly and positive attitude.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$65,400.00Maximum:
$158,700.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
