Our client is a leading manufacturing company with operations across multiple locations in the US and Canada. We are in the process of implementing Epicor Kinetic, a robust enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, to streamline our operations, enhance productivity, and support our growth. We are seeking an experienced Epicor Kinetic Implementation Specialist to lead and drive this crucial project.

Job Summary: The Epicor Kinetic Implementation Specialist will play a pivotal role in the successful deployment and optimization of the Epicor Kinetic ERP system across five locations in the US and Canada. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, customization, and effective utilization of the system. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Epicor Kinetic, strong project management skills, and a proven track record in ERP implementation within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Epicor Kinetic, including planning, execution, testing, and go-live phases.
    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and within-scope delivery.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to address project needs and resolve issues.
  2. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Work with key stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
    • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for the Epicor Kinetic system.
    • Identify and document customization needs to tailor the system to fit organizational requirements.
  3. System Configuration and Customization:
    • Configure Epicor Kinetic modules to align with business processes and requirements.
    • Oversee customization and integration efforts to ensure compatibility with existing systems and workflows.
    • Conduct system testing to validate configurations and customizations, ensuring they meet performance and usability standards.
  4. Training and Support:
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users at various locations.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users during and after the implementation phase.
    • Address and resolve any post-implementation issues or system enhancements as needed.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes.
    • Generate and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  6. Travel and Coordination:
    • Travel to the five locations across the US and Canada as required to oversee the implementation and provide on-site support.
    • Coordinate with local teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration at each site.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience with Epicor Kinetic ERP implementation and administration.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how they integrate with ERP systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote and on-site capacity.
  • Willingness to travel across the US and Canada as needed.
