About Stripe

Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
We are looking for a highly collaborative and action-oriented Enablement Program Manager to join our Total Rewards (TR) Strategy, Projects, and Enablement team. Our team partners across TR and People to champion our rewards strategy, optimize our project/program portfolio, and enable a frictionless and delightful experience for Stripes.
What you’ll do
As an Enablement Program Manager, you will drive the development and delivery of enablement strategies and learning materials that support Stripes and internal partners in understanding rewards programs. This person will have broad expertise in learning design, including content design and development, change management, project/program management, and virtual and in-person facilitation. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-motivator who has a proven track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating exceptional learning experiences aligned to business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong working knowledge of Stripe’s rewards programs and user sentiment
- Leverage a users-first approach to design highly relevant, succinct, and clear enablement assets (including job aids, manager guides, and in-person/virtual training sessions)
- Build with change management in mind and guide teams to articulate the story for Stripes, managers, and leaders on why changes are necessary, how it benefits Stripe, and what their role is
- Use data to understand and solve for user and partner personas, friction points, and impacts
- Qualitatively and quantitatively assess and improve the effectiveness of training and enablement to demonstrate impact in line with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, business leaders, and subject matter experts during the design and development process, establishing project timelines, addressing user needs and feedback, and ensuring alignment, engagement, and expectation management
- Facilitate and/or work with facilitators to deliver ongoing developmental experiences
- Operationalize our TR/People brand standards and assets; own user-facing experience via internal rewards website, intranet homepage, etc.
- Advise and consult on TR/People enablement initiatives in order to upskill the extended teams, maintain a high quality standard, surface potential barriers to user adoption, and scale our team’s impact through others
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in relevant learning & development and/or People spaces
- Extensive experience designing, building, and delivering effective enablement solutions that scale
- Strong organization and project/program management experience; you love bringing order to chaos, connecting dots, and translating strategy into clear action plans
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; you use data to tell the story, share your recommendations, and inform decisions in an easy to understand, logical, and impactful way
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; you guide teams from point A to point B in a way that’s approachable, authentic, direct, and inclusive
- Comfort working both autonomously and cross-functionally; you’re a self-starter and trusted partner who’s able to influence people at all levels of an organization
- The ability to adapt and manage competing priorities in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment; you’re expecting change and excited for it to come your way
- Passion for learning, coaching, and continuous improvement; you’re constantly looking for ways to make things (and people!) work more efficiently and effectively
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with eLearning development and graphic design (experience with Articulate 360 and Google Suite preferred)
- Understanding of how learning technologies impact the user experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of design thinking and design thinking processes
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.
The annual US base salary range for this role is $121,800 - $182,700. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
