Salary/Compensation: Business Grade 8 | BG-8

Position Summary: Under direction of the Director of Recruitment, the District Recruiter serves as a vital member in achieving the recruitment goals of Tulsa Public Schools by assisting in the research, development, and implementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants for the District.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in education, public administration, human resources management, business, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
• Three (3) years of experience in project management or closely related field including recruitment, project management techniques and tools, group organization, communication, material preparation, candidate cultivation, task management, and cost/benefit financial analysis
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
• Knowledge of human resources, legal or employment processes and procedures in educational settings
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and human resource information systems
• Technology skills in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Drive
• Familiarity with recruitment systems such as Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
• Prefer experience with Fountain, MUNIS, and PowerSchool
• Proficient in Spanish is a plus
