Provides routine and ad-hoc installation, service and consultation on all beverage equipment, to include bar guns, juice machines, fountain heads, coffee machines, espresso units, bubblers, smoothie and soft serve equipment. Works closely with sales for onsite surveys and record keeping, to include contracts, work orders and service logs. Additionally, the Technician performs preventative maintenance on equipment in the field as well as on-call rotation with other Technicians to properly install, maintain and service equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install new and replacement beverage equipment for new and existing customers

  • Provide routine and ad-hoc maintenance, repair, cleaning and sanitation of beverage equipment for assigned customers

  • Maintain an adequate inventory of all beverage equipment parts – responsible for tracking, maintaining and ordering inventory

  • Partner with customer and sales associate to ensure USF products are being utilized in beverage equipment

  • None

RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal: Works closely with sales and operations

  • External: Works closely with vendors and customers

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Onsite: The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods office-based environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of experience installing and servicing commercial beverage equipment

  • Working knowledge of electricity

  • Working knowledge of plumbing

  • Working knowledge of refrigeration systems

  • Demonstrated mechanical skills

  • Ability to operate effectively/efficiently in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker, etc.)

  • Must have good driving record

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires the ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs

  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities for described length of time.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between

$19 - $29
