Salary/Compensation: Business Grade 11 | BG-11

Position Summary: The Director of Recruitment is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with the goals of Tulsa Public Schools. This key leadership position will oversee and guide the recruiting process which includes recruiting outstanding candidates and ensuring the use of standard, quality-focused selection models to build high-quality candidate pools for all district positions. The Director of Recruitment employs innovative methods to source qualified, diverse talent and maintains strong partnerships with teacher education programs and other key community partners to build talent pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in education, public administration, human resources management, business, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:

• Five (5) years leading recruitment processes
• Experience leading and developing a team of high-performing talent acquisition
professionals
• Two (2) years of experience in human resources, legal or employment processes and
procedures in educational settings
• Three (3) years of experience in project management or closely related functions
including recruitment, project management techniques and tools, group organization,
communication, material preparation, candidate cultivation, task management, and
cost/benefit financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and human resource information
systems

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:

• Experience with recruitment sites and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
• Experience managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and streamlining technology platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
