Director of Product, AI and Data
Job Description:
A Director of Product Management is responsible for interfacing and partnering with cross-functional teams - such as engineering, sales, and marketing. They are the owner of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. This role plays a strategically critical role in the development, management, and strategy of data products, including AI innovations, impacting user adoption, engagement and overall success of the product by connecting users to the product value.
The successful candidate will be naturally cross-functional and detail oriented, as this will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between product development, data science team, enterprise customer, product management, and business stakeholders. As a leader in this space, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data services, managing identity and access management (IAM) to manage and scale workload and access securely supporting our platform agility and innovation on Skills platform.

What you’ll do:
Improving product delivery by developing operations, processes, frameworks, and resources that can be scaled across organizational boundaries
Partnering with leaders to establish milestones that balance the development of new product capabilities with security, operational, and/or regulatory risks; influencing end-state architecture and driving secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions
Influencing senior leaders and executives to gain alignment, secure resources, and overcome obstacles
Creating vision and strategy for product vertical with your product leaders
Prioritizing and setting the outcomes with your teams based on the company strategy
Own the long term roadmap with cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, compliance, support, and legal to drive IAM and data initiatives
Establish and monitor KPIs, implementing improvements based on user feedback, and staying current with industry trends and best practices
Formulate and execute to metrics that contribute to business outcome for our customers and business
Experience you’ll bring:
2-5+ years of management experience leading other product managers
5+ years of end-to-end SaaS product delivery experience
Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions with familiarity with relevant standards and protocols (eg OAuth, SAML, OIDC)
Robust understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies
Proven experience working with ambiguity and being able to build strategic direction and roadmap
Requirements:
Direct experience in product management or related experience shipping products to market in SaaS environment
Experience managing or leading a team of Product Managers or equivalents for SaaS products, with a preference for a servant leadership attitude
Strong leadership, decision-making, and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
Ability to strategize product direction with inputs like competitive analysis, VoC, business reviews and business goals
Experience leading engineering discussion around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and own product roadmap strategy and definition
Ability to influence stakeholders to align around prioritization decisions
Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including SSO, MFA, RBAC and identity governance
Requires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree
MBA preferred; BS or BA degree focus in computer science, math, or other related STEM majors
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $156,000 - $192,600 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
