Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on the strategy and design of MetLife’s Identity Management program.
  • Establish organization training plans, manage escalations, communicate goals and deliver robust solutions for business impact.
  • Bring an expert level of understanding of relevant technologies, provide leadership to team members.
  • Align to senior management’s vision while communicating status updates and metrics.
  • Participate in a wide range of design activities, from requirements analysis through systems, application and/or process design specification and implementation.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, security, or related degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with 3 - 5+ years on SailPoint IIQ.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and technologies (SailPoint IIQ, RBAC/ABAC, LDAP/AD).
  • High degree of empathy, assertiveness, and persuasiveness and potential to lead diverse teams.
  • Proven experience leading transformational IAM projects in large, complex organizations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrates comprehension of Enterprise Security concepts.
  • Experience managing development teams or having hands on software engineering experience.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, preferably using Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes needed to make good decisions to support the business.
  • Ability to assist in production of status reports, metrics, requirements, project progress tracking, and analysis.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
