**Role Summary**
Arrowhead Consulting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Director of Business Development** to spearhead our growth initiatives. This strategic leader will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the consulting landscape, a proven track record in business development, and a passion for delivering value to clients.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Business Development will work closely with our consulting practice leaders to ensure our solutions meet client needs and contribute to long-term partnerships. **Key Responsibilities**
- **Business Development Strategy:** Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with Arrowhead Consulting’s goals and values.
- **Client Acquisition:** Identify, engage, and secure new clients across various industries, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- **Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
- **Market Research:** Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging client needs to inform business development efforts.
- **Proposal Development:** Lead the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch materials that effectively communicate our value proposition.
- **Collaboration:** Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff from sales to service delivery, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.
- **Revenue Growth:** Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and the expansion of existing client accounts.
- **Brand Ambassador:** Represent Arrowhead Consulting at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance our brand presence.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of project management, leadership development, and strategic consulting services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

**Pay and Benefits**
- The hiring range for this role is $60,000 - $84,000. The offer will be commensurate with relevant qualifications and professional experience. Additional 3%-6% commission on sales, Individual Stretch Goal Bonus in addition to Team Financial Performance Bonus.
