Position: Desktop Support Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join their team! This individual will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems, and assisting with network troubleshooting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their technical expertise while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair Windows operating systems and software issues.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Provide support for network connectivity, including basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN issues.
  • Assist with system imaging, software installations, and deployment of new machines.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation related to troubleshooting steps and system configurations.
  • Support end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactions to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for Windows operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Experience providing end-user support in an IT helpdesk or desktop support role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear technical explanations.
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
