Position Summary
The Creative Marketing Coordinator supports the Development department by providing comprehensive outreach strategies to increase brand awareness and engage the community and key stakeholders about the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s mission. This position will oversee current marketing, graphic design, printing, and website projects to ensure they are on schedule, coordinate with vendors, and work with internal clients to determine marketing needs.
Essential Duties
- Meeting with internal clients to determine marketing and printing needs.
- Work with printing vendors and suppliers in the competitive bid process.
- Coordinate and create an internal communication newsletter.
- Proof and authorize printed materials.
- Support staff with designing, writing, and proofing proposals to donors.
- Update the Food Bank’s website as needed.
- Serve as support for coordinating fundraising events.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree (A.A.), or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and two years related customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Computer proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Software, specifically Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM software is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to effectively communicate and interact with diverse clientele and staff.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to the food bank's needs.
- Ability to effectively analyze situations and resolve routine and complex problems.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Adept at handling multiple tasks and concurrent projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must have a flexible schedule to attend all after-hours cause marketing events.
- Safe driving record, current vehicle insurance, and ability to use personal and company vehicles.
