About the Job:

As a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Analyst at SmartAsset, you will be instrumental in enhancing the effectiveness of our on-site presence. You will focus on creating, executing, and analyzing A/B tests to optimize user experiences across our website, with a keen eye on improving conversion rates across both B2C and B2B segments. This is a high visibility, hands-on role with the opportunity to autonomously develop a testing backlog, manage the execution and management of tests, and present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement A/B tests using Optimizely, leveraging your skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to modify web elements directly.
  • Work with paid marketing teams to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve conversion rates of landing pages
  • Optimize landing pages and advertorials, experimenting with CTAs, hero images, and various site features to maximize conversion rates.
  • Specifically tailor optimization strategies for B2B landing pages to meet the unique needs of our needs of our business.
  • Own the development and management of a robust testing backlog, prioritizing CRO tests for both B2C and B2B landing pages.
  • Continuously enhance the performance of our blog pages, ensuring alignment with our overall CRO strategies.
  • Effectively pull and leverage data to generate insights and inform decisions around overall landing page strategy, opportunity, and feature prioritization.

Skills / Experience You Have:

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of JavaScript.
  • Experienced with A/B testing platforms, preferably Optimizely.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Full knowledge of growth marketing levers (key metrics, how they affect each other)
  • Prior experience in CRO, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of pixels, UTM parameters, and online ad tracking
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, or a related field

Skills / Experience Preferred:

  • UI/UX design experience, preferably with Figma
  • SQL proficiency
  • Experience with Unbounce
  • Experience with GA4, Mixpanel, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Washington, and New York City residents* $55,000-78,000 + Bonus eligible + RSUs + benefits.

Salary at SmartAsset is determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the contiguous United States.
