Description

Job Title: Compliance Coordinator

Location: Hybrid in Oklahoma

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Pay Rate: $19-20 (dependent on experience)

Job Summary

The Compliance Coordinator at ACES will play a vital role in supporting the Compliance Department, ensuring that all internal processes and documentation meet legal and regulatory standards. This position will be responsible for managing records requests, performing audits, maintaining data integrity, and assisting in various compliance initiatives.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Records Management: Process and manage all client medical record requests with accuracy and adherence to privacy laws.

  • Audit Support: Conduct monthly audits, including 10% of client charts and 10% of employee files, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with both payor and internal requirements.

  • Payor Compliance: Support compliance initiatives with regular follow-ups, data monitoring, and alignment with payor-specific requirements.

  • Note Template Management: Maintain and update note templates per payor requirements to ensure consistent and compliant documentation.

  • Documentation and Billing: Oversee the integrity and accuracy of documentation and billing data, including intervention procedures, to comply with regulatory standards.

  • Electronic Record Requests: Process electronic requests for note deletions or adjustments, following established protocols and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • System Administration: Act as a liaison with the IT department to address system-related compliance needs and support requests.

  • Regulatory Projects: Participate in various projects that support regulatory standards and compliance goals.

  • Other Duties: Perform other compliance-related tasks as assigned by the Director of Compliance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within healthcare or ABA settings.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance regulations and industry standards.

  • Skills:

    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Discretion with handling confidential information.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions: Office environment with potential for remote work. Standard business hours with occasional overtime as needed to support audits or special projects.
