Job Summary: The Compensation Analyst I will support the Compensation Department by performing entry-level analytical and administrative tasks related to compensation programs and policies. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to begin their career in compensation analysis and human resources.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection and organization of compensation data from various sources.
- Support the maintenance of compensation databases and tools.
- Prepare reports and presentations on compensation trends and data.
- Conduct market pricing analyses under the supervision of senior analysts.
- Participate in salary surveys and analyze survey data to inform compensation decisions.
- Assist in the administration of annual salary review processes and incentive programs.
- Partners with HR on job descriptions for each position in the organization ensuring descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed
- Ensure compliance with compensation policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Maturity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Work Environment:
- Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting and may require visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot/cold temperatures, dust, loud noise and chemical fume exposure.
- Sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
- Work may require travel, including overnight stays.
