International is seeking an Area Sales Manager for our newly created International Financial division. Be a part of this growing team. This leadership role is responsible for implementing finance sales strategies in an assigned territory to ensure maximum customer interface, market growth, and profitability for International Financial and International’s dealer channel. Achieve sales results and margin by developing and executing sales strategies and tactics, as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts. Performs as a resource with high level knowledge of company products and services.
This position is remote but needs to be located in FL, AL, or MI.
Responsibilities
- Equip our dealers with the ability to sell more new International units and used vehicles.
- Work closely with Centers of Influence (COI) inside and outside of the organization who assist in driving new business.
- Understand and carry out senior management’s sales objectives with respective market place / territory. to achieve all quality, pricing, and volume objectives.
- Provide leadership by demonstrating excellent sales capabilities, expert sales tactics, and customer relationship management.
- Provide ongoing support to retain customer accounts and plan to aggressively acquire new customer conquest accounts between $2MM - $20MM.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals to include value added bundled financial services.
- Provide leadership to dealer Finance and Sales organizations in developing strategic account level business relationships and ensure personnel has access to and successfully completes all required training.
- Ensure dealer personnel are qualified and proficient in finance related competencies and capabilities to serve their market, refine and customize the corporate business market to the local level.
- Complete quarterly dealer market summary and sales strategy reviews.
- Have in-depth experience of the pre-qualification, structuring, and pricing on all credit requests to adhere to International Financials’ profitability standards and stated risk appetite.
- Ability to travel up to 80-90% throughout the United States meeting with prospects, outside calling, attending network functions, and community events.
- Maintain a strong understanding of International Financials’ credit policy, evaluate risk on leasing and lending products, and recognize customer eligibility to successfully submit credit/application packages.
- Stay current with national, regional, and local industry trends.

- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 8 years of sales experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience

- At least 6 years of sales experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience

- At least 10 years of sales experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience

- Formal Credit Underwriting credit training
- Commercial transportation experience preferred
