Applications Engineer II
Overview
As an Applications Engineer at TDW, you’ll be technically responsible of the operational part of the field activities and will provide the necessary skills to ensure the achievement of the filed projects assigned to you and provide timely responses on requests related to HT&P equipment. You’ll coordinate day to day technical activities of the HT&P Service Projects as defined by the management.
You will be a key stakeholder during the HT&P Services project planification and execution and will partner with lots of departments such as Commercial Operations, Workshop, Field Technicians and Quality and, together as a team, will make the job a success.
Responsibilities
Provide support to sales process: assist Commercial Operations in the preparation of quotes to ensure practicability and profitability of the project, analyze jobs pre-orders by using customers technical specifications, etc.
Ensure jobs will be executed on time and according to customers specifications: establish equipment’s list using equipment from TDW fleet, monitor availability of the requested equipment/technicians with the Workshop Supervisor and the Administrative Assistant to ensure and respect the deadline, etc.
Provide technical assistance: monitor equipment quality standards, support Non-Conformance resolution by investigating problems and recommending corrective actions, support HT&P field applications, conduct on-site pre-job field audits/evaluations to confirm job feasibility, remain current on new development, etc.

Maintain product drawings and engineering bill of materials for services assets.
Create, check, and approve drawings in conjunction with designers and other engineers
Assist Applications Engineers as needed.
Experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience performing calculations for engineering design.
Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
Familiarity ASME B31 pipeline standards and ASME Section VIII-I pressure vessel standards preferred.
Experience with a PLM system (TeamCenter preferred)
Experience in oil & gas industry with fittings preferred.
