As Data Scientist IV, you will be responsible for full life-cycle development, implementation, and production support of data warehouses, business intelligence reporting and advanced analytical model development. You will act as a technical leader on your team and deliver technical solutions to the business that drive business value. Responsibilities/Expectations:
Leads the design, build, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure services
Develops and manages cloud-based data infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security
Creates data models and ETL/ELT processes that support advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions
Develops interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders
Implements CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline data engineering workflows, deployments, and automation
Collaborates with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models and AI solutions
Ensures data compliance, governance, and security standards are followed across all data engineering projects
Works closely with product managers, data scientists, and business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business, or a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience including three (3) years supporting a major technology application
Preferred: Master's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience with five (5) or more years in data science and/or business intelligence development
Other Requirements:
Understanding of Azure Databricks administration, including cluster performance management, cost optimization strategies, and user access control mechanisms
Proficiency in writing efficient, scalable PySpark code for data processing, transformation, and machine learning workflows
Experience with Terraform for deploying, configuring, and managing cloud resources for scalable and repeatable infrastructure setups
Skills in developing automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline platform management tasks and data workflows
Knowledge of implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for data pipelines and platform resources using Azure Monitor or similar tools
Understanding of enterprise security policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and supporting compliance audits
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
