Reports to: Aftermarket Sales & Support Manager
Cooperates with: All Departments
Primary Responsibility: This position is responsible for direct sales of Power Generation Aftermarket, SCR parts, catalyst, DPF, retrofit, and peripheral equipment to existing MIRATECH and Competitor End Users.
This salary plus commission-based position requires a high level of customer relationship building, frequent call and follow up communication, technical knowledge, listening and problem-solving skill, as part of a conversational Q/A sales approach. Through your actions, our customers trust and know they will receive the utmost care when working with MIRATECH.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with PG Aftermarket Manager to develop, implement, and drive sales strategies to meet goals
- Focused efforts on Out-Bound customer calls to grow the MIRATECH brand, parts, catalyst, and service sales
- Continuous follow up on all new/existing proposals and recording win/loss circumstances
- Provide weekly update on outbound call successes, high value close potentials, and associated sales
- Respond to customer requests, generate proposals, enter sales orders in ERP system, call list database maintenance, new customer set up, and continuous follow up.
- Apply question based technical sales approach to all in and outbound calls, providing total and or best solutions
- Make strong recommendations to upgrade obsolete or aged equipment, providing options.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of MIRATECH and customer equipment to determine best sales approach
- Work directly with our Technical Service team to provide all necessary PM parts and service quotes
- Special attention to Key Accounts providing competitive quotes for parts, equipment, and services
- Notify production to replenish fast moving parts.
- Follow-up on All sales leads from internal and external resources
- Call All customers upon receipt of RFQ for support and additional sales and service potential
- Develop detailed working and technical knowledge of MIRATECH's products, parts, markets, and customers
- Process return material authorizations (RMA's), warranties, and coordinate customer resolution and follow-up with the AM Manager and Production team.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Live in the Tulsa Oklahoma area or willing to relocate.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience with the use of CRM, ERP, or other large database systems; Syspro experience desired
- 3+ years of successful industrial product business-to-business sales
- Knowledge of emission control systems, engine driven generators, compressors, pumps, etc.
- Knowledge of or understanding current regulatory requirements of SI and CI Engines is a plus
- Technical experience with the ability to read, interpret, and discuss electrical and mechanical PID, technical drawings and schematics (metric and imperial).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, with organizational and time management
- High energy with a positive, courteous
- Willingness to work cross functionally, assert beliefs and opinions, and to
- Proficient use of Current Technology, Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and
- Proven ability to achieve sales
- Ability to evolve and adapt to ongoing changes and work well under pressure.
- Works well in a team environment and a self-starter.
