Job Summary

Support the Dean of Students in day-to-day activities of meetings, committee work, and other related duties as assigned.

Essential Duties

Responsible for managing and coordinating purchasing activities for the Dean's Office, including procurement of supplies, materials, and services in compliance with institutional policies and budget guidelines.

Provide administrative support for the Emergency Grants Committee including preparation and follow up items.

Provide administrative support for the Refund Petition Committee including preparation and follow up items.

Provide support to the commencement team by assisting with commencement-related activities and events.

Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations while providing comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining office efficiency.

Conduct research and provide support on student issues for the Dean's Office.

Provide operational support for Spring Break activities.

Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.

Support the contract process.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.

1 year administrative professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent education. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.

Experience in higher education.
