GENERAL SUMMARY: This individual will teach college level courses within the School of Engineering and Construction Technologies. These evening classes will be held at the OSU-Tulsa Campus. The focus of this Adjunct position will be in the operation, design, installation, repair and maintenance of systems typically found in manufacturing, processing, and utility industries. The main focus of this instructional position will be in the areas on automated measurement and control of pressure, temperature, flow, and level.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Other combinations of work experience and education may be considered if relevant.
  • Ten (10) years of documented successful work experience in an I & E department of industry.
  • Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Must be a strong advocate for integrating technology into the delivery of instruction.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and human relations.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and resolve conflicts as necessary.
  • Must exhibit characteristics of a team player.
  • Must be willing to take initiative and assume responsibility.
  • Instruction will consist of in-person and evening instruction.
