At a Glance:
The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant position include, but are not limited to period, quarter, and year-end close process. The Senior Accountant will support our International Operations and may also be involved with more complex issues by utilizing enhanced analytical or accounting skills.

Location: Tulsa, OK
This position is expected to be filled in the greater Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
What you will do:
Supporting the period, quarter, and year-end financial reporting process
Preparing journal entries
Preparing working trials for multiple companies
Preparing reconciliations of accounts, actively investigating reconciling items to resolve timely
Performing analytical assignments and preparing accounting reports
Assisting with internal and external audits ensuring all schedules, requests and aspects of the audits are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner
Maintaining records for accounting transactions
Contributing to the company’s efforts to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley while ensuring compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations
Participating in the identification and implementation of improvements to accounting processes
Various ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisor or manager
What you need:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting
3-4 years of Accounting experience
CPA or CPA track
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
Experience with general ledger function and the monthly/yearly closing process
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and Vlookups
Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
Self-motivated
Excellent organizational skills in order to manage multiple tasks
Working knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle
Experience working with or within a public company with SEC reporting and SOX control requirements
Not a must, but a plus
Public accounting experience (Big Four a plus)
Spanish proficiency a plus
Experience with Alteryx or Microsoft Power Suite
Experience in the oil field service industry
