JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

ONEOK is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Crude Commercial team. Responsibilities will include ONEOK’s crude oil and intermediate products business in South Texas including transportation and storage at our Corpus Christi marine facility. The position will also support ONEOK’s pipeline assets in the Eagleford basin. The Account Manager will cultivate customer relationships, develop creative commercial solutions, seek out and execute strategic investments, and lead cross functional teams to maintain and grow the business.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and investigate existing business and contracts to identify opportunities to increase profitability and/or decrease costs

  • Help in the preparation for negotiations with existing and potential customers

  • Develop new relationships with potential customers and maintain effective customer relations with existing accounts

  • Identify investment and optimization opportunities and lead resulting projects teams including self-performing the following:

  • Preparing economic models

  • Conducting business & market analyses

  • Developing management presentations

  • Routinely perform research and monitor the marketplace to determine commercial point of view for our business operations and utilize this information to formulate our overall strategic business plans

  • Interact with the following teams regarding supply/or market opportunities to ensure success of existing business and growth opportunities: operations, scheduling, accounting, legal, engineering, construction, contract administration, other commercial teams, land, regulatory, and others

  • Develop, interpret, and/or prepare information and correspondence including but not limited to:

  • Contracts & Agreements

  • Internal & External Correspondence

  • Proposals

  • Tariffs

  • Financial Statements or Forecasts

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent formal education to include a combination of courses such as finance, accounting, engineering, business management, or job related experience

Experience

  • Experience in use and function of office equipment including microcomputers and applicable software

  • Experience and/or knowledge including but not limited to:

  • Negotiation

  • Contract Analysis

  • Economic Analysis

  • Research Skills

  • Communication Skills

  • Experience analyzing data with a strong business acumen

  • Experience researching, analyzing, and resolving issues and/or questions concerning contracts, agreements, regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Experience developing and preparing contracts, agreements, reports, presentations, policies, procedures, and correspondence applicable to position

  • Experience reading and interpreting reports, correspondence, industry publications, contracts, and computer manuals and printouts

  • Experience interacting, advising, negotiating, and communicating effectively
