Position: Account Manager
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Account Manager to join their team! This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and providing tailored solutions for clients in need of mechanical equipment, boilers, and controls. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive in prospecting new clients, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
Commission take home averages above $100,000-$200,000 in take home a year!
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, networking, and in-person visits.
- Understand customer challenges and provide customized product recommendations to meet their needs.
- Develop expertise in our mechanical equipment, boilers, and controls to confidently present and recommend solutions.
- Take full ownership of assigned accounts, managing everything from quotes and customer service to accounting inquiries and education.
- Implement and maintain a strong outbound sales strategy, consistently engaging with new and existing customers.
- Actively participate in at least one professional association or networking group to build connections and identify sales opportunities.
- Regularly forecast sales data and maintain accurate pipeline reports in Sales SharePoint to ensure transparency in sales growth potential.
- Collaborate with sales engineers to identify new leads and expand the account base.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and quotes to successfully convert opportunities into closed deals.
- Maintain up-to-date sales forecasts, providing leadership with insights into potential growth.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships to promote long-term business success.
- Continuously seek ways to expand business opportunities with both new prospects and existing customers.
- Keep detailed digital records of customer interactions, updates, and product information.
- Ensure all account contact details are current and accurately maintained within the ERP system.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall growth and success of the company.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in mechanical equipment, industrial solutions, or a related field.
- Strong ability to identify, engage, and convert potential clients into long-term customers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present solutions effectively.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems and proficiency in maintaining accurate sales reports.
- Self-motivated and proactive in seeking out new business opportunities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales engineers and leadership.
