Position Summary
As an Account Executive, you will manage a book of business of Aetna Funding Advantage (AFA) and 51-100 Fully Insured, along with dental/vision. Account Executives act as the liaison between Brokers/GAs and cross-functional internal teams, and are responsible for ensuring timely/successful delivery of customer renewals, and helping manage timely support for broker/customer inquiries. Excellent communication skills are required to ensure we understand our customer's needs and are able to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with our key business stakeholders. Additionally, Account Executives are expected to demonstrate a high level of customer service through the execution of accuracy, responsiveness, reliability, and professionalism on all interactions. This will include managing the resolution status of routine to complex requests related to our customers' business requirements; including but not limited to:
- Accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned brokers & book of business to ensure case renewal and retention. Responsibilities include delivering & securing renewals and cross-selling dental & vision
- Determine concerns/barriers for retention of customers; identify top concerns and review mitigation strategy with leadership. Discuss and present solutions and collaborate with internal partners to enhance broker/customer experience.
- Driving Practical and Creative Solutions- Critically thinking about complex situations to find optimal outcome.
- Collaborates with account team members and functional support areas on more complex product or service issues to ensure client’s needs are met.
- Engaging Appropriate Resources - Discuss information at varying degrees of complexity, at varying stages of progression, and engage internal or customer resources to drive issue resolution.
- Work within deadlines and drive resolution within a timely manner.
- Responsible for utilizing member-focused strategies to improve member experience and customer satisfaction.
- Renewal Implementation- Lead implementation of renewal by working with cross-functional internal teams, consultants and customer.
- Reviews and consultatively presents customer reporting with meaningful analytics, trending and insightful recommendations for additional programs and services.
- Supports operations and sales teams on ad hoc projects.
- Required to communicate with internal and external parties telephonically and/or in person. May require travel to offsite locations for in-person meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of client relationship experience within the Heath Insurance Industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Health & Life Insurance license.
- Medical, Dental and Pharmacy product experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years Account Management, Health Insurance Industry experience.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (HS Diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $91,014.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
